Hello fancy meeting you here!
Now I have your attention, Thanks for being here... I'm Jade, the artist of this some what chaotic portfolio!
Based in a small town right at the entrance of Cornwall, England.. Is where I spend my days, drinking coffee, drawing a lot with the occasional visit to the grand outdoors; in tow is a not so willing participant to outings that involve getting muddy, a ginger and white Jack Russell known as Rusty.
Since graduating with a Degree in Animation from the University of Portsmouth I have been focused on developing my skills as Freelance Digital Artist and Illustrator.
Most recently I have had opportunity to work with local writer Julie Anne Rudd in designing cover for her book, 'Team Spirits' a comedy mystery novel, Which is a sequel to 'The Hippies of Haggleby Hall' that she has self published.
This was such a excellent opportunity to challenge my skills as an illustrator and bringing the exciting opportunity to work with her on future projects.

I have started my own small business called 'Jade Draws' where I have specialised in Pet Caricatures and have been producing and selling portraits locally. Dogs are very much a mans best friend in my household; So I know what a special place a pet has in a family, having the opportunity to bring my two loves together and share that with others is an opportunity that I couldn't miss.. This venture has really allowed me to focus on story telling through a single image, using character expression to bring more personality to my drawings. It has also allowed me to further stretch my imagination when it comes to creating unique characters and experimenting with more realism in my art.
